Rates:

Rates are based on industry standards and start with a two hour minimum charge. Initial Fee may be waived for jobs lasting four hours or more. Discounts or differential rates for platform, performance, or otherwise more demanding assignments will be negotiated at the time a request is made.
Conditions:
- Off-site Travel: Day rates for offsite travel will be negotiated separately. Per Diem will be assessed at the standard GSA rates, and expenses incident to travel and lodging will be reimbursed at cost.
- Coverage: Assignments over two hours long generally require a second interpreter. I can personally arrange for this at the rates quoted above, or provide you with referrals. A full day of work will not be billed as a series of shorter assignments.
- Reimbursable Charges: Parking, mileage, and travel costs may be negotiated at the time a request is made.
- Payment: Net 30 days from the invoice date. Late payments will be assessed an additional 3% after 14 days past due, and 5% after 30 days past due. Credit cards accepted.
Cancellations and No-Shows:
Cancellations made less than two business days in advance of the beginning of the assignment are considered untimely and will be billed. Multi-day assignments will only be billed within the two-day billable cancellation period. No-Shows are billed without exception.
- Short Notice Fee: A $40.00 fee may be added to requests made with less than three business days' notice.
Inclement Weather Policy:
Michelle has taken every effort to ensure that she is well prepared to handle all manners of inclement weather. Michelle will cancel without cost only when a weather emergency has been officially declared by the local authorities. Cancellations due to inclement weather will be billed unless otherwise previously negotiated.
